DURHAM – Duke men's soccer midfielder Peter Stroud has signed with MLS side New York Red Bulls on a homegrown contract, the club announced on Saturday. The contract is for three years, with options in 2026 and 2027.
The Chester, N.J., native was the top player in the country in both TopDrawerSoccer's preseason and midseason Top 100 and provided a steady presence in Duke's midfield all season long in 2022. He finished the year tied for second-most points on the team while also setting a new career-high for assists in a regular season with five.
