DURHAM, N.C.—All good things must come to an end. And after seven weeks in existence, the Duke Outdoor Lacrosse League aka the D.O.L.L. sadly concluded its inaugural season this past Saturday, crowning Peithos as the champion.
McSallies and Peithos first met in an exhibition game as the teams' front offices were given the opportunity to organize their personnel before regular season contests commenced. Peithos took the exhibition game before McSallies regrouped and won the season opener.
A schedule change to Friday night under the lights proved valuable for Peithos as they evened the series at one apiece.
