A great last game for Peyton Manning, but heartbreak for the Panthers.
You could see it in Cam Newton's eyes: either he was nervous because of the scale of the event or because of the intensity of the defense which was probably an unhappy revelation for Carolina's young quarterback as it led the Broncos to a 24-10 win in Super Bowl 50.
Full credit goes to Wade Phillips' defense, which was brilliant. Newton, who has also been brilliant all season up until the Super Bowl, never looked comfortable, much less dominant.
But still, he's a young quarterback and should have more chances at a ring.
