DURHAM – Duke women's soccer assistant coach Carla Overbeck helped lead the U.S. Women to the TST Tournament Championship on Monday evening at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C. With the victory, the squad took home $1,000,000 in the inaugural event for the women.
Overbeck and the U.S. Women defeated the North Carolina Courage, 6-3, in the championship to take home the title.
In the group stage, the U.S. Women totaled a 2-1 ledger to move on to semifinals where the squad posted a 4-0 win over Tampa Bay Sun FC.
