Jeff Capel is in the midst of a major rebuild at Pitt and since the Panthers joined the ACC, there just haven’t been that many memorable players. But we’ll do our best as we continue or series of favorite ACC players from other schools.
- Jerome Lane. Yes, he played in the Big East and not recently. But the man had one of the great backboard breaking dunks of all time at Providence in 1988. Send it in, Jerome! No one has really topped it in NCAA history. So yeah, Jerome Lane. Deal with it, purists!
