DURHAM – Duke junior attackman Brennan O'Neill and graduate student goaltender William Helm have been selected the ACC Men's Lacrosse Offensive and Co-Defensive Players of the Week for their respective performances in the Blue Devils' win at No. 1 Virginia Friday. O'Neill also was named to the USILA Team of the Week.
This is the fourth honor this season for O'Neill and second of the year for Helm, who shares the accolade with Notre Dame's faceoff specialist Will Lynch.
O'Neill scored six goals and added three assists to help lead the Blue Devils to a thrilling 16-14 victory at the top-ranked Cavaliers.
