Olympic Preview: Croatia Is Talented And Capable

But with some important flaws too.

Whatever ends up happening with Croatia in the Olympic basketball tournament, odds are the worst is over: according to Bojan Bogdanovic, the flight to Rio took 32 hours and was quite cramped.

Croatia has three NBA players: Bogdanovic (Nets), Mario Hezonja (Magic) and Dario Saric, who was drafted by Philadelphia in 2014. Free agent Damjan Rudez is sitting out as is Ante Tomic. Both would help.

Hezonja is 6-8 and can play either forward or guard. He’s averaged 6.1 ppt for Orlando and 2.2 rpg.

Bogdanovic is also 6-8 and has similar versatility.
