CHICAGO, Ill. – Blue Devil incoming freshman Leaonna Odom competed in the McDonald’s All-America contest Wednesday evening at the United Center in Chicago, Ill. The 6-0 wing registered 10 points as her West team collected a 97-88 overtime victory over the East squad.
Odom, who hails from Chaminade College Preparatory School in West Hills, Calif., started for the West team and saw action in 18 minutes. She hit 3-of-6 field goals and 4-of-4 from the charity stripe, while pulling down three rebounds, blocking one shot and dishing one assist.
The West team outscored the East, 41-22, over the four quarter and overtime to finish with the win.
