DURHAM – No. Duke (4-0) three-hit the Liberty Flames (3-1) on Wednesday afternoon at Jack Coombs Field to secure the first home win of the season, 4-2. Graduate left-handed pitcher Tim Noone earned his first win in a Blue Devils uniform, working three innings of two hit baseball and struck out four.
Sophomore Gabriel Nard entered in relief, working two innings of no-hit baseball, before passing the ball off to freshman Kyle Johnson who worked two innings of one-hit baseball.
