DURHAM – No. 9 Duke (16-7, 3-5 ACC) dropped its second consecutive league series on Saturday, as NC State scored six runs in the bottom of the ninth to walk off the Blue Devils at Doak Field at Dail Park, 9-8.
Duke led from the start, scoring in the first, second, fourth, sixth and eighth innings on Saturday.
Junior Wallace Clark and freshman AJ Gracia both left the yard with home runs, while three Blue Devils collected multiple hits against the Wolfpack.
