The Opening Faceoff
- Duke hits the road for four of its next five games. The Blue Devils start the road swing at Loyola, March 9 with a 3:30 p.m., faceoff at Ridley Athletic Complex.
- The Blue Devils are 24-13 all-time against the Greyounds and have won six of the past seven matchups, including last year's 17-9 victory in Durham.
- Loyola opened its season with a dominant 18-10 win over then-No. 11 Georgetown. The Greyhounds then lost three straight before upending Towson in overtime Feb. 27. Loyola fell to Colgate last weekend in its Patriot League opener.
