DURHAM – The 23rd-ranked Duke baseball team opens the 2022 season this weekend with a three-game series against VMI at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park in downtown Durham.

Duke is set to open the 2022 season with a three-game series against Virginia Military Institute Feb. 18-20 at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. First pitch is set for 4 p.m. Friday, 3 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday. Duke leads the all-time series 13-5, but the two teams have not faced each other since 1998. Head coach , entering his 10th season at Duke, has never faced VMI.
