DURHAM – Second-ranked Duke softball welcomes Charlotte to Duke Softball Stadium on Wednesday for a non-conference matchup. First pitch is set for 5 p.m.
The Blue Devils (29-3, 10-2 ACC) are coming off a conference series sweep over No. 15 Virginia Tech last weekend. Sophomore Aminah Vega was named the ACC Player of the Week after powering Duke's offense to the program's first series sweep over the Hokies. She finished 7-for-10 with three home runs and nine RBI during the three-game set. Vega tallied the first multi-home run game of her career on Friday, blasting a pair of two-run home runs to help guide the Blue Devils to a 6-5 victory and clinch the series win.
