SARASOTA, Fla. – The 14th-ranked Duke rowing team faced strong competition on the opening day of the Big Ten Invitational in Sarasota, Fla., on Friday.
The Blue Devils' Third Varsity Eight highlighted the day, opening the afternoon session with a first-place finish over three nationally ranked crews. Duke stroked its way to second-place times in its remaining four races of the afternoon.
