DURHAM – No. 11 Duke softball (40-7, 19-3 ACC) sent the graduating senior class off with a doubleheader sweep, defeating Pittsburgh, 3-2 and 6-1 on Friday afternoon at Duke Softball Stadium.
The Blue Devils finished off the first 40 win regular-season in program history, improving on the 39 recorded in 2021 with two rain-marred victories over the Panthers (14-26, 2-20 ACC).

Much like the opening game of the series on Thursday, the Blue Devils were able to strike for two runs in the opening frame.
