DURHAM, N.C. – As the historic 20th WNBA season tips Saturday, May 14, a total of nine former Duke standouts will suit up for seven different teams – Mistie Bass (Phoenix), Alana Beard (Los Angeles), Karima Christmas (Dallas), Monique Currie (San Antonio), Haley Peters (San Antonio), Jasmine Thomas (Connecticut), Chelsea Gray (Los Angeles), Lindsey Harding (New York) and Elizabeth Williams (Atlanta).
The season will officially get underway Saturday, May 14 with five games highlighting opening night in the WNBA. Dallas will travel to Indiana, New York hits the road for Washington, Phoenix will play at Minnesota, Connecticut Sun will open at Chicago and Atlanta will face San Antonio.
