DURHAM – Graduate student Lily Nabet and sophomore Maggie Graham each scored their first goal of the season to lead No. 4 Duke to a 2-0 win over Syracuse on Saturday night at Koskinen Stadium.
In front of a crowd of 796 that included 25 former Duke players back in town for alumni weekend, the Blue Devils (8-1-1, 2-1-1 ACC) dominated possession and earned their fifth shutout of the season. Duke finished the night with 17 shots on goal off 27 total attempts while limiting the Orange (4-6-1, 0-4-0 ACC) to just two strikes on target.
