Jim did his usual excellent job of breaking down the win over Fort Valley State. We’d just like to touch on a few more things.
First, as Coach K said, Duke was more talented. So that skews the final impression somewhat. Keep that in mind.
Second, we didn't realize that FVS coach Mark Sherrill was a Durham guy. On the broadcast, the play-by-play guy said that Coach K used to let him sneak into Cameron with one other guy to rebound so that he could work on his game. That’s a very cool story. He also said that Sherrill used to play pickup ball with Duke students who would let him in - but only if he had done his homework, which is also pretty cool.
