NETANYA, Israel – It was Ned Crotty leading the Blue Devil contingent in a dominant 19-2 victory for Team USA over England to close out pool play. Crotty finished the day with two goals and two assists. He now has five goals in the tournament.
England opened the game’s scoring, but the U.S. rattled off 13 straight for a 13-1 lead in the third quarter. Matt Danowski and Jordan Wolf both added two assists apiece, while Will Haus picked up two ground balls and helped anchor the defense that allowed just two goals for the second straight game.
