PITTSBURGH –Duke redshirt senior Mitch Finesilver turned in a dominant performance in his opening match at the 2019 NCAA Wrestling Championships at PPG Paints Arena Thursday afternoon. Matt Finesilver also won to advance in the championship bracket.
Redshirt freshman Benjamin Anderson started the day off right for the Blue Devils, pinning Lock Haven’s Alexander Klucker in the second period to launch the Blue Devils into a tie for first in the team standings with three points. It was just the second pin of the season after he registered a fall to advance to the NCAA Championships.
