Former Duke star Steve Wojciechowski has been at Marquette for six full years going into his seventh. He’s been successful broadly speaking and has put his stamp on the program that has seen Tex Winter, Al McGuire, Hank Raymonds, Tom Crean and Buzz Williams there before him.
Every successful program has to have defining wins though and on Friday night, Marquette got one.
The Golden Eagles faced off against in-state rival and Big Ten power Wisconsin and the game was tied at 65-65 with one second left on the clock.
