DURHAM, N.C. – For the first time in program history, a Blue Devil has been drafted to the professional ranks, as Reilly Metzger was taken in the 2019 American Softball Association Draft by the E1 Pro Ballers.
Metzger, who wrapped up her Blue Devil softball career this spring, is the first player in program history to be drafted after being selected with the 33rd overall pick by the E1 Pro Ballers.
The Boerne, Texas, native capped her two-year career with the Blue Devils by playing in 65 contests, drawing 43 starts.
