Men's Tennis Heads to Knoxville for NCAA Team Championship

DURHAM – For the 27th time in the last 30 seasons, the Duke men's tennis team will compete at the NCAA Team Championship, the NCAA announced Monday.

The Blue Devils, who come in as the No. 23 team nationally by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), will make their way to Knoxville, Tenn., for the first and second round play this weekend.

Duke (16-8) will take on Memphis (16-7) on Friday at 10 a.m. in the opening round. Site hosts Tennessee (22-7) face Tennessee Tech (8-12) on Friday at 1 p.m. The winners of the two matches will face each other on Saturday at 1 p.
