PORTLAND, Ore. – Born out of the success of the PK80 event in 2017, which the Duke men's basketball team won in Portland, the field for the 2022 Phil Knight Legacy was announced Tuesday. The event is set for November 24-27, 2022 in Portland, Ore.
The eight-team men's bracket, comprised of elite Nike-sponsored teams includes the Blue Devils, along with Florida, Gonzaga, Oregon State, Portland State, Purdue, West Virginia and Xavier. The teams have combined for 199 NCAA Tournament appearances, 29 Final Fours and seven NCAA titles – Duke has accounted for 43 NCAA appearances, 16 Final Fours and five national championships.
