DURHAM – Duke men's soccer sophomore defender Lewis McGarvey has been named to the College Soccer News Team of the Week, as the organization announced on Monday.
The Belfast, Northern Ireland native was named to CSN's Team of the Week for the first time in his collegiate career, following his game-winning goal in a 3-2 overtime decision over Virginia on Oct. 29.
One of five team captains, McGarvey is the only Blue Devil to start all 15 games this season and leads the team in total minutes with 1,372, playing primarily as a center back.
