DURHAM, N.C. – A pair of Blue Devils reeled in preseason conference honors Monday, as senior Kayla McCoy and junior Ella Stevens were named to the 11-member preseason All-ACC team following a vote by the 14 league head coaches.
This is the first preseason All-ACC honor for both players, while the Blue Devils were picked to finish fourth in the league. As a team, the reigning ACC regular season champions received 151 points, including three first-place votes.
Duke will look to keep its momentum rolling from a historical 2017 season that saw the Blue Devils finish a perfect 10-0-0 in ACC play and reach their fourth NCAA College Cup.
