DURHAM, N.C. – Duke University women’s basketball head coach Joanne P. McCallie along with Blue Devil student-athletes will participate in the 17th Annual NAMI North Carolina Walk May 18, which will benefit the National Alliance on Mental Illness. It will take place at Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh.
Check-in and family-friendly entertainment, including face-painting and music and dancing, will begin at 9:30 a.m. McCallie, who will serve as the walk chair, along with selected Duke women’s basketball team members and staff will lead the step-off for the 5K walk at 10:30 a.m. Patrons can enjoy a free hot dog roast starting at 11:30 a.
