This week was a the perfect week to have two great games as Duke freshman Matthew Hurt ended 2019 with a career game and started 2020 with another stellar performance.
Due to his dominance over Boston College and Miami, Matthew Hurt was named as the ACC Freshman of the Week.
On Tuesday night in the win over Boston College, the Minnesota native dropped a career-high 25 points in a 39-point win over the Eagles.
Hurt was 10-of-16 from the floor and 5-of-10 from 3-point range in addition to four rebounds and one steal.
