DURHAM, N.C. – Duke senior Erin Marsh has been named the ACC Women's Field Performer of the Week after winning the pentathlon at the Hokie Invitational in Blacksburg, Va., on Friday.
In her first appearance in the pentathlon since winning gold at the ACC Indoor Championships last February, Marsh garnered 4,185 points at Rector Field House. The total ranks first in the NCAA this indoor season and put her 404 points ahead of the second-place competitor at the Hokie Invitational. Marsh placed first in four out of the five events – 60m hurdles, high jump, shot put and long jump – and finished fifth in the 800m.
