DURHAM, N.C. – Recent Duke graduate Katherine Maitland was named a Pocock Division I Second Team All-America honoree, the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) announced.
Each year, the coaches of the CRCA recognize outstanding student-athletes in each division. Criteria for the award include: the student-athlete must meet all eligibility rules as defined by the institution, the student-athlete must have competed in at least 75 percent of the season’s races in a varsity boat, the student-athlete must be nominated by the institution and the head coach of the institution must be a member in good standing of the CRCA.
