Maguire Remains No. 1 in World Amateur Rankings

DURHAM, N.C. – The latest edition of the Women’s World Amateur Golf Rankings were released this week with Duke sophomore Leona Maguire still ranked No. 1, while Blue Devil senior Celine Boutier was No. 18.

Breaking down the top five point leaders, Maguire owns 1,728 points followed by Hannah O’Sullivan (1,629), Maria Parra Lugue (1,589), Sierra Brooks (1,473) and Bronte Law (1,467). Boutier stands at 1,219. The listing ranks the top female amateur golfers in the world on the basis of their average performance in counting events over a rolling cycle of the previous 52 weeks.
