Lee Named ACC Fencer of the Year for Saber

DURHAM - Junior saberist Terence Lee was tabbed ACC Fencer of the Year in men's saber, as announced by the conference office Thursday.

Lee garnered the award for the first time in his career after collecting his first All-America accolade at the national meet.

Lee posted the second-best finish in Duke men's program history at the NCAA Fencing Championship in March, just behind 1996 national champion Jeremy Kahn.

Lee entered the final day of competition in fourth overall and secured a spot in the semifinal bout as the fourth seed.
