TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The ninth-ranked Duke women's soccer team suffered a 1-0 loss to fifth-ranked Florida State (14-4, 8-2 ACC) on the road at Seminole Soccer Complex Thursday evening. With the loss, the Blue Devils fall to 8-2-7 on the season and 3-1-6 in ACC play, while the result ends Duke's 14-game unbeaten streak.
One goal proved to be the difference in the tightly played contest between the two top 10 foes. After a scoreless 78 minutes of play, the Seminoles broke the tie at the 78:36 mark with the lone goal of the contest, which decided the game.
