There’s no question that former Duke point guard Kyrie Irving has had a weird, up and down year and his playoff performance didn’t impress everyone.
Still, he’s clearly one of the most talented players in the NBA and will be a free agent this summer.
Did his erratic season worry potential suitors?
Various outlets are reporting that some teams are getting a bit skittish about signing Irving, pointing to a perception of less-than-stellar effort and also of petulance.
Perceptions aren’t reality of course but once that kind of thing starts it’s hard to shut it down.
