DURHAM – Duke University Senior Deputy Athletics Director and Chief of Staff Nina King has been given a one-year extension by the NCAA and will remain on the Division I Women's Basketball Committee for the fourth straight season in 2021-22 as announced this week.
The Division I Women's Basketball Committee has expanded the committee to 12 members in 2021-22 and three new committee members will be added for the coming season.
Because the committee recently experienced significant turnover in its membership, having replaced five of its 10 members in summer 2020, the NCAA Division I Council Coordination Committee approved one-year extensions for King and committee member Debbie Richardson, senior associate commissioner of the Atlantic 10 Conference.
