DURHAM, N.C. - One of the most respected executives in the NBA and a star for the Blue Devils in the 1980s, Brooklyn Nets general manager Billy King sat down with Blue Devil Network on Wednesday as the team continued the early stages of its training camp on the Duke campus.
King helped lead the Blue Devils to a 112-27 record, two Final Four appearances, two ACC Tournament titles and an ACC regualar season championship from 1985-88. He was named the 1988 National Defensive Player of the Year, the second of six players who have earned the honor.
