For the most part, we feel the same way about team ratings as we do about rating high school players. You have a few that are seriously better than everyone else, a group that’s also quite good and some you really can’t get a grip on. Specifically though?
It’s rare when things are really clear cut. Duke was the best team in 1999 - until it wasn’t. Kentucky was the best team in 2015 - until it wasn’t.
