DURHAM, N.C. – Women's soccer sophomore Sophie Jones has been selected Duke's PNC Achiever's Student-Athlete of the Week after scoring the game-winning goal in double overtime of the NCAA Second Round on Saturday.
Jones netted the game-winner off a cross from freshman Maggie Graham in the 103rd minute, giving the ninth-seeded Blue Devils a 2-1 victory over Arizona State. The goal advanced Duke to the round of 16, where it will meet Ole Miss at 12 p.m. on Wednesday at the WakeMed Soccer Complex in Cary, N.
