Duke men’s basketball head coach Jon Scheyer has been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Board of Directors, the organization announced Wednesday. Scheyer, along with eight other head coaches representing all three NCAA divisions, officially began his term Sept. 2 during the Board’s annual fall meeting.
The NABC Board of Directors serves as the association’s top leadership body, providing strategic oversight of daily operations and advocacy efforts.
“As college athletics and the game of basketball undergo unprecedented transformation, it’s vital that coaches continue to present a unified voice and demonstrate sound national leadership,” said NABC Executive Director Craig Robinson.
