DURHAM – Duke's top doubles duo of redshirt senior Garrett Johns and sophomore Pedro Rodenas reached their highest career ranking together, coming in as the top team nationally in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) tennis rankings.
The Blue Devil pairing was listed at No. 3 heading into the weekend but defeated the No. 1 and No. 79 ranked doubles teams to secure their new position at the top. The twosome is currently riding a nine-match winning streak and are 11-2 this season against nationally ranked opponents.
Johns and Rodenas also both earned a spot in the newest singles rankings.
