Jeremy Cash Named ACC Defensive Player of the Year

Duke senior safety Jeremy Cash was named ACC Defensive Player of the Year today. Cash is the first Duke Football player to ever win the Defensive POY Award since its inception in 1993 and the first Duke player to win any ACC POY Award since running back Robert Baldwin won Player of the Year in 1994.

Cash has been an All-ACC Honoree during all of his three years in Durham, including first team honors this season. Since Cash’s arrival at Duke, the Blue Devils have a record of 26-12, an ACC Coastal Division Title, and three bowl appearances.
