Jason Williams’s ESPN star continues to rise: the World Wide Leader discontinued Mike Golic, once of Mike and Mike and then partnered with Trey Wingo on ESPN’s morning radio show, and Williams appears to be a favorite to be one of the new co-hosts.
It’s still seems stupid that ESPN broke up Mike and Mike. Golic’s chemistry with Mike Greenberg was really good and the show stayed fresh until Greenberg departed.
For Williams of course it’s a great opportunity. He’s been really good on TV and he’s quick on his feet. He has excellent conversational skills by which we mean he can make an on-camera conversation seem genuine and personal.
