After a disappointing two point loss in the semifinals against the Ukraine, Australia utilized its off day wisely and were able to regroup and take down Team Israel in the Bronze Medal match at the World University Games.
In the final game, Jack White just narrowly missed a double-double finishing the game with 11 points and nine rebounds on 5-of-9 shooting, 1-of-2 coming from beyond the 3-point line as Australia got its revenge, beating Israel 86-69.
Israel defeated Australia 92-64 in the first game of group play at the World University Games with both teams losing by two points in its respective semifinal game.
