DURHAM, N.C.—Duke University incoming freshman Max Moser recently was called up to train with the U-19 Austrian National Team. Moser was one of 18 players selected to play in a pair of matches at the end of the month.
Moser, a native of Bregenz, Austria, is currently playing with SC Austria Lustenau. He is one of two players from the club selected, being joined by Marco Krainz. The youth international is the youngest player to join SC Austria Lustenau and debuted with the first team in October 2015.
Capable of playing both outside back and on the flank in the midfield, he previously played youth soccer with Academy Vorarlbert for four seasons.
