DURHAM, N.C. – Duke senior defender Callie Humphrey and sophomore Maddie Jenner were named Preseason All-America by Inside Lacrosse, the organization announced Wednesday afternoon.
Humphrey's, a third-team selection, earned recognition for a second consecutive year after being tabbed honorable mention last season. Jenner garnered honorable mention praise for draw controls and attack by the organization.
The senior from Summit, N.J., started all 19 games on defense just a year ago for the Blue Devils, leading Duke in ground balls (35) and caused turnovers (21).
