NC State’s media notes proudly point out the Wolfpack has forced opponents into 20 or more turnovers on four occasions this season. The previous seven State teams, six of them directed by Mark Gottfried, forced 20 or more turnovers only twice. Combined.
A survey of 2018 ACC squads reveal the overall rarity of 20-turnover outings, both by and for conference clubs. Rarer still are 20-turnover efforts within ACC play. Clemson forced 21 in an overtime victory over Louisville. Duke caused 22 in a win at Wake.

NC State isn’t the only league team that forced four opponents into at least 20 turnovers.
