DURHAM, N.C. – Recent Duke swimming and diving graduate Nathaniel Hernandez has been named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) 2020 Academic All-District Men's At-Large Team First Team, as announced by the organization Thursday.
The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom. Honorees selected first-team Academic All-District will advance to the Academic All-America ballot. The Division I honorees will be announced June 19.
One of 10 male student-athletes selected to the NCAA Division I All-District III team, Hernandez was joined by fellow Blue Devils Eoin Gronningsater (fencing) and Chandler Eaton (men's golf).
