DURHAM, N.C. – Former Duke diver Nathaniel Hernandez was named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) 2020 Academic All-America Men's At-Large Second Team, the organization announced Friday afternoon.
Duke was one of two schools to have three student-athletes earn Academic All-American status. Hernandez was joined by fellow Blue Devils Eoin Gronningsater (men's fencing) and Chandler Eaton (men's golf) on the second team roster. Jaravee Boonchant (women's golf) earned recognition on the women's second team.
A five-time CSCAA All-American, Hernandez enjoyed a storied career on the Duke diving boards.
