DURHAM – Duke goaltender William Helm and faceoff specialist Jake Naso have been selected as the ACC Men's Lacrosse Defensive and Offensive Player of the Week, respectively. This is the third weekly honor for Helm this season and the second for Naso.
The pair was instrumental in helping the second-ranked Blue Devils post a thrilling 15-14 victory over No. 3 Virginia Saturday afternoon. The win was Duke's 18th consecutive regular season victory over the Cavaliers.
Helm, making his 13th career start for the Blue Devils, finished his afternoon with 12 saves, including seven in the fourth quarter, to seal the one-goal victory.
