Harding Hired as NBA Full-Time Scout with 76ers

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Former Duke and WNBA star Lindsey Harding has been hired as a full-time scout for the Philadelphia 76ers of the NBA for the 2018-19 campaign. She is just the second former WNBA player to be hired for a full-time scouting position with a NBA team.

Harding, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2007 WNBA Draft, joins only Jenny Boucek as she performed advanced scouting work for the Seattle SuperSonics in 2006. Other former women’s basketball players that have made the transition to the NBA include Becky Hammon, a San Antonio assistant coach, and Natalie Nakase, a Los Angeles Clippers assistant coach.
